Directed by Dr. Christopher M. Marra
On this very special concert, each piece was composed as a way to pay tribute to someone or something. Most notable, Dr. Mahr’s work will be written to honor our beloved founding conductor, Prof. Kathy Campbell. Ticheli’s latest piece was composed in memory of the lives lost in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, which included members of the Seton Hill Community. Husa, Graham, and Perrine composed their works in tribute to extraordinary individuals while Copley’s work celebrates the return of live music performance after the Covid-19 pandemic.
